Our family doesn't use many mugs- and I was thrilled to find the sets with matching drinking glasses instead. They set an absolutely beautiful table.
If you enjoy a simple country design, you'll love these dishes.
Corelle is durable and stays lovely for years-- My mother still has the set (trimmed with yellow butterflies) I grew up with years ago! Just be careful not to drop a plate or bowl- they can really shatter!!
I love my set, and would absolutely order these again.

(More customer reviews)Here is the product that started it all. Created originally as an alternative to Melmac, way back in the Nixon administration, it has captured the imagination of America, especially when it was found that one could microwave food on it.
Its siblings, in Butterfly Gold, Spring Green, Snowflake Blue, Old Town Blue, et al, alas, are not longer available. But this set 100% compatible, so it makes for a quick way to restock broken pieces (no, NOTHING is 100% indestructible) at half the price of replacing pieces one (or four) at a time.
No, it doesn't have the stackable (and microwaveable) cup and saucers. It doesn't even have the ceramic (non-microwaveable but matching) mugs. But basic white cups and saucers are available anywhere. This has the basic pieces (minus the dessert bowl) that you probably want, plus some tumblers thrown in for good luck. But be careful, because the tumblers are clear, so they are not really Corelle, and they shouldn't be thrown far...

It's also good for make large batches of bread or cookie dough! Not the highest quality stainless steel, but for the price it is well worth it.

(More customer reviews)This thing feels like a WWII landing craft. It's heavy, not pretty, but it sure gets the job done. This pan could be around long after the end of life as we know it.
Just keep it clean and dry. Don't let it soak in water or you might be sorry. All these products seem to season like cast iron. The more you use them the darker they get and the slicker they feel as the pores of the metal seal. Be sure to use a baking spray or oil and flour to keep the sticking down.

(More customer reviews)We bought these for our two girls (2 and 5) so that they could have dishes matching out stoneware and they were great, for a while.
Now we are down to 1 out of the original 4 we ordered due to the plates cracking over time (5 months since we ordered).
They haven't been abused and have been washed in the dishwasher on no heat.
Same issue with the bowls. YMMV, but when 3 out of 4 are dead, I think there is a problem.
