(More customer reviews)This pans are great for baking smaller loaves of bread. They are well made with no crevices which make cleaning easy. We like smaller slices of bread for sandwiches, toast etc. and these pans make the perfect size. A recipe for one 9" x 5" makes two loaves of bread in these pans. One tip: The fact the pans are shiny mean the heat is reflected and the sides of the loaves will not brown when baked at 425 degrees. I found that by decreasing the temperature to 400 degrees and adding time to approximately 20 minutes or when bottom of loaf is tapped sounds hollow gives excellent results with light brown sides. We like rich egg bread which should be baked at a temperature lower than 425 degrees anyway. I don't think you can go wrong with these pans for bread or for baking meat loaf, etc.
