(More customer reviews)Great idea but mediocre execution. It is rough to touch -- could have been sanded better. And for the price, I expected better craftsmanship. It's made in Romania. Plus, once you cut bread, the crumbs are not so easily removed from the slots. All in all, I was disappointed.

(More customer reviews)I've had this product for a few months now. It is nicely constructed and works well. However, some of the top slats have warped slightly, so the cutting surface is no longer even. Occasionally this makes it hard to completely cut through the bread at the bottom.

This board really helps keep the counter clean when cutting bread and making sandwiches.
I like that the crumb-catching slats go all the way to the edge.
14 inches is a good length. It takes up very little space on the counter top.
I do wish it were a little wider, maybe 10 inches instead of 8.5 inches.
I've had it for about 2 yrs. No warping, no problems with tray getting stuck in the base.

(More customer reviews)It took me a while to decide on which one to purchase. I was looking at the two that were similarly priced on Amazon. This one was a little bit more expensive, but after receiving it I can see why. Its incredibly high quality. The original reason I bought it was it had the smallest height of the two, making it easier to fit in a drawer. I also compared prices else where of the two and this one was the largest savings. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again.
