(More customer reviews)i don't know what to say really, i cleaned and oiled these pans before putting the dough into them and the bread stuck like glue to the sides of the pans.
i also used a norpro pan which looks identical to the kaiser and the bread popped right out.
maybe they have to be used a few times first? I will try again next time i bake but considering that the pans were oiled and the bread was shaped with oil not flour i am amazed at how tenaciously the bread stuck to this pan...

(More customer reviews)This Kaiser oval bread pan is great to bake in, never sticks. Over all pan is 12.5 long by 7" wide. Inside measures 10 3/4" long x 5 3/4 wide x 3 1/4 deep. It bakes an artisan looking loaf of bread. I use half stone ground whole wheat flour and half King Arthur all purpose flour and it bakes a beautiful loaf. I also use 2 tablespoons yeast per loaf because wheat flour is heavier and needs the lift from the extra yeast. I can't say enough nice things about this pan. Also, I am baking my bread for 30 minutes using a toaster oven instead of my big oven and the loaf is baked all the way through. I like a softer crust, so when I take it out to cool, I turn it over, and leave the pan on the loaf for 8 to 10 minutes while it's cooling before I remove it completely. This makes all the heat and moister that usually just evaporates into the air go back into the loaf and you have a nice moist loaf of bread.

(More customer reviews)Only downside, it takes a few extra minutes of baking time due to the light color. Otherwise, just apply a little oil and it releases the baked goods better than the so called "Nonstick" pans that I have, for less than half the price. Hope this helps.
PS: update a couple of years later... this pan did not last long, in fact it started rusting shortly after I wrote the initial review and we had no choice but to throw it out. Should have updated sooner, sorry...
