(More customer reviews)I had a hard time bringing myself to fork out $80 for a bread knife, but I'm glad I did. This is a superbly crafted knife, and very useful. It does a great job biting into crusty loaves of bread, and it's so amazingly sharp you can cut tomatoes without any sign of tearing. It fits my (largish) hand perfectly, and the slight upward curve of the blade really helps when you've cut almost through the loaf: it keeps you from needing to bang your knuckles on the cutting board trying to get that last little bit of crust on the bottom. I love it!
