(More customer reviews)I could not do without this product. I have made not only Quesadilla's but also pancakes, omlets, sandwiches, and I am still looking at more recipes. It takes only 2 mintues for a thick pancake compared to on a stovetop. My only negative on this unit is that if you use butter it is very messy and hard to cleanup. If this had removeable plates it would be a 5 star in my book. Well worth the $20 I paid for it.

Bake favorite quesadilla recipes right at home in just minutes with this easy-to-use quesadilla maker. Simply place a flour tortilla on the nonstick grill, then add ingredients like shredded cheese, salsa, and shredded or thinly sliced pieces of cooked meat, poultry, or vegetables. Oster 6307 Inspire 2-Slice Toaster, Red Review

(More customer reviews)Bought this toaster less than two months ago and it's already broken. The control buttons (one of the reasons why we bought it) are not functioning, neither is the darkness control knob. Once it's put into the toast position, it does not shut off, you have to push up the lever manually. My son put in some Toaster Swirls only to set off the smoke alarm. This is the second time a product (a rice cooker)from this brand has broken within months of purchase. I'm just going to avoid Oster at all costs in the future.

Shortly before it got here I noticed the review section and read all the horrible reviews for this toaster and became really concerned that the toaster wouldn't work properly. It came about six months ago, I've used it pretty much every day since then and it works just fine. No weird, uneven toast. No sticky handle. None of the scary stuff in the other reviews. Its pretty, and it works. Its a toaster.

The reason for a 4 star rating: Use caution if blending liquids as they tend to foam up and flow out under the blade/whisk and into the motor housing. This happened to me. After letting it dry out for a few days, it's working fine. And the hot chocolate was delicious, although I will use a larger blender next time! So be careful! This could happen with any food processor, large or small. This is a pleasure to use! Chop an onion in seconds, make bread crumbs instantly, many other uses. I recommend it!

Oster 6335 Counterforms 2 Slice Toaster Review

(More customer reviews)When I was a kid (I'm 40 now) we had a toaster that made good toast and lasted 25 years. This Oster 6335 is the 3rd new toaster we've tried. The other ones toasted one side but not the other, short circuited after about a year, or would toast fine one day and not the next. The Oster 6335 is okay, I bought it because Consumer Reports said it was the best and was a Best Buy. It's better than the other 3 but problems are:
The darkness adjustment is too sensitive, changing from 3 to 4 on the scale goes from light to burnt toast. One side is always darker than the other. Even on the same side of the toast some areas are toasted and some are not. The handle that pushes down the toast seems flimsy and I know it will break after a couple years. Like I said this is the best out of the 4 (3 plus this one). But I'm not raving about it.

Oster 2534 Inspire Handheld Mixer with Bonus Attachments Review

(More customer reviews)The biggest issue for me is that the retractable cord is quite short - probably about a foot long - so I can't hold the mixer at a comfortable angle even when I'm working right in front of an outlet. What's more, the lowest setting is much faster than on any other mixer I've used. I've gotten into the habit of whisking by hand until a mixture is fairly thick before turning to the mixer. Even then it's still fast enough to make a bit of a mess, so I usually just finish by hand to save the trouble of having something else to wash up. Lastly, the eject button isn't actually a button, it's just an area of plastic with a logo on it that you're supposed to run your thumb down to release the beaters. It's creaky and feels flimsy, and it doesn't usually let got of the beaters until you try it a few times.
On the upside, the unit has a nice heft, the rubber grip is comfortable, and the switch feels solid. The negatives outweigh the positives for me, though, so I'm going to keep an eye out for something better.

This was the second brand of toaster I had to return - also returned a Black & Decker - both would only toast one side! Seems like they'd have it right by now. I finally bought one of the refurbished Cuisinarts (an $80 toaster for $30), thinking I could put a spotlight on it and use it as a display piece if it didn't work, but the Cuisinart is a great toaster! I guess you get what you pay for (unless you buy refurb ;)

(More customer reviews)This toaster works as expected, but isn't quite as long as needed to toast four slices of slightly larger than normal bread. It works to do that if you have standard sandwich bread, but if you have something just a bit wider, you're back to being able to do only two at a time. However, since it is long, you can toast breads that wouldn't fit in a regular toaster at all.
I love the lift lever so if you have smaller pieces, you can still get them out. There are some minor features they could add, but then the price point wouldn't be so nice.

(More customer reviews)I have owned and used this breadmaker for 5 years now and there is no reason to get another one. The best part is it comes out with a loaf of bread that looks like a loaf of bread, not some tube of baked stuff.
This one is reliable.
As for making a good loaf of bread, one of the best hints I have found to follow is to measure your flour not by volume but by weight - a cup is 5 oz. This is what bakers do because all kinds of things can affect the volume of the flour you're measuring; moisture, settling, etc.
