(More customer reviews)I purchased this item to help make my falafel more like the falafel sold in middle eastern restaurants. The problem is this scoop is much smaller than what I was hoping, it makes falafel less than half the size of what I am used to. Because they are so small, they don't cook the same way a larger ball would cook and a lot of flavor is lost. I am disappointed and I have gone back to rolling them by hand. I would recommend looking around for a larger scoop.

The Professional falafel scooper - to make falafel balls with out getting your hands drty & gluey....JUst pull the knob, "dip" the scooper into the mixture and then realse the mixture into the oil. And the you have delicious falfel balls for an authentic middle easter meal.

(More customer reviews)I'm giving Lodge a 5 star rating because of their customer service.The pot I received had some pin holes inside the pot,and developed a small chip outside on the rim after 1 use. I also bought the 6qt.dutch oven as well and that was in perfect condition. Lodge promptly sent me a UPS label and gave me a new one.These pots are quality,heavy duty pieces and I'm glad I went with a reputable company like Lodge.For the price and their grantee you can't go wrong.

(More customer reviews)I bought mine recently and LOVE it! I'm a single person who normally eats out of the microwave and get impatient when it takes more than 5 minutes for some dishes. But I do love to cook but ran out of time with my job nowadays and this does the perfect job of allowing me to cook quickly and clean up just as quickly. I'm very happy with mine! Of note, some people are bothered by the small size. It's just me so it's perfect and possibly perfect for 2 people. Get a bigger size if you cook for a lot of people.

By cooking foods from the top as well as from the bottom simultaneously, maximum moisture and flavor is retained. The one thing that is not retained is the fat, which runs out along channels in the slightly slanted grill to a dishwasher safe drip-tray out front. The grill marks provide caramelized flavor and an appealing apperance for steaks, chicken breasts, seafood, veggies and more. While your food is cooking you can also warm up buns, tortillas, rolls and other bread items on top. After the party's over simply scrape with the plastic spatula and wipe clean with a paper towel or sponge. This model is an ideal size for cooking food for one or two people.

Lots of the pieces were given to me as wedding gifts, and I continue to add to my collection. It is by far my favorite pattern and continues to be used daily. My fine china is still sitting unused! I love to use these dishes year round, especially during the holidays. I have had the dinner plates for at least 5 years and not a single one is chipped. All pieces are extremely durable and are dishwasher and microwave safe. I regularly use my Botanic Garden baking dishes and covered casserole in the oven and on the table. The timeless design blends so well with all of my placemats, linens, other serving pieces and glassware. I use a little fruit bowl each morning for cereal and I always feel happy. I don't think I will ever get tired of this pattern.

(More customer reviews)The balance on this knife is great. I use it for nearly every job. I had a cuisenart food processor and gave it away. I found I was faster with this knife, and there was less cleanup.
Previously I had a 10" chef's knife and its too long, the motion of picking up the heel of the blade meant I had to lift my arm too high. It just wasn't comfortable. The 6" seems too short, the 8" is just right.
You really only need about 3 knife styles, and this is one of them. (Bread knife, and paring knife are the other two.)

Hand Crank Grain Mill Review

(More customer reviews)I've had this grinder for MANY years (about 12 I think). I don't use it real often, as it is slow work. I use a NutriMill electric grinder for my everyday flour grinding. But when we want corn bread or cream of wheat or rice, this hand grinder does the best! This meal does a great job of making a true course corn meal and farina/ "cream of ..." cereals. (You'll never want cornbread with storebought cornmeal again, once you've tasted fresh ground.)
For those things that don't require a large amount of grain meal, and that you don't do everyday, this is a great mill. For daily grinding of flour for several loaves of bread - I wouldn't do it.
Another reason I like having this on hand is if we'd ever be out of electricity, and I couldn't use my NutriMill.
