As noted by another buyer, it's not the heaviest construction, but what do you expect for the price. It gets the job done and is really good for putting a little pizazz in a piece of meat. Done correctly, it can add a great finish look to a dinner roast or tenderloin, and is good for injecting, say, lemon juice into chicken breasts to add flavor and moistness.
Many uses defined only by your imagination. All in all, a good deal.
