(More customer reviews)Almost too beautiful to actually use, but this board in tough! After two years of use it is still holding up great and looks better than ever. It's a pleasure to use, and it makes an elegant serving platter as well. The channels on the side let meat juices flow away from the work area without risking a stain to your tablecloth. And it has a great story too: cut from a renewable teak farm in the Mexican jungle, not from some ancient forrest in Malayasia that has been illegally clear cut.

(More customer reviews)This is a very nicely made cutting board and a great value at the price. BUT, I think it is a bit too big for use as an everyday board. I purchased both this board and the medium Mundial cutting board. They are identical except for the size. After having had them for a month or so, I have found that I use the medium board nearly everyday, while this board is a bit too large and heavy for use as an everyday cutting board. Rather, it is the board you break out for those big turkeys and hams on Thanksgiving & Christmas.
The bottom line is if you are looking for one everyday cutting board, I highly recommend the medium version of this board instead of this one. Or, do like I did & get both and have this one "on standby" for large roasts and poultry.
