Created by Furi in cooperation with celebrity chef Rachael Ray, the Gusto Grip line of knives are well-made, user-friendly, and fun to look at as a bonus. Designed to retain sharpness and maximize efficiency on the cutting board, Gusto Grip blades are fashioned from a single forged piece of premium CrMoV German stainless steel. The polypropylene and rubber handles in cheerful bright orange have a comfortable reverse wedge shape that minimizes the need for squeezing and molds ergonomically to the hand for slip-resistant performance. Even more, antimicrobial protection on the grip limits bacteria, mold, and deterioration.
Thoughtfully designed, this Gusto Grip sandwich knife offers a 5-inch blade with a rounded tip for getting every last bit of peanut butter and jelly from the bottom of the jar, as well as a cut-out shape on the top of the blade for effortlessly scraping under the rim of most jars--no more left behind mayonnaise. The knife's rounded tip also helps ensure safe use even for younger chefs, while its flat spreader makes it possible to cover bread with a variety of toppings from the center quickly out to the edges. Once the sandwich is loaded up--with anything from peanut butter and bananas to lettuce, tomato, onion, and deli slices--cut it in half or diagonally with ease thanks to the knife's round tooth serrations. A finger groove on the knife's handle provides added control. Measuring approximately 13-2/5 by 4/5 by 1-3/5 inches overall, the 5-inch sandwich knife should be washed by hand and carries a limited lifetime warranty.
