(More customer reviews)I got these for Christmas from my mom,after falling in love with her set. She got them at Sam's club. These are the best knives I've ever used! (And I've worked in many a professional kitchens plus my in-laws have a tendency to buy the best of everything-including kitchenware even tho they don't cook! haha) The block is very nice and well weighted. The knives all have great balance and a nice weight to them. I haven't cut myself (I'm a former girl scout & culinary student, so i've been threw tons of knife safety classes haha) but they are definitely sharp enough to do the job if one wasn't careful. I love how sturdy these knives are, no bending, curving or warping. I'm planning on buying Wolfgang's Santoku set to pair with this set, since it doesn't include Santoku's-this set's only downfall. Luckily, for the price, the other set is still well within budget! Love love love these knives! I fully recommend!

I had a Cuisinart, but the switch became defective after a few years of use, so I bought a replacement --- different model number (CEK-40), but essentially the same. It died (same switch problem) after my initial use --- just trying it out. Amazon, of course, took it back without any hassle. So I got the Wolfgang Puck knife --- had to wait a bit, as it was announced but not released. The blades seem a bit long to me, but that is minor. It works perfectly, and looks really solid. I've used it about a dozen times by now, mostly carving roasted chicken.

Wolfgang Puck Bread Maker Review

(More customer reviews)This bread maker is cheap, but that may be because it is cheaply made. It gets the job done, and the bread tastes great, but the machine's bread pan frequently pops out of the cradle during kneading. I don't feel comfortable leaving the machine alone during the first 40 minute kneading cycles because I need to constantly push the pan back into the cradle. When it pops out, it makes a terrible noise and would probably shake itself off of the table if I wasn't standing by to push it back in.
That being said, once the kneading cycles are over, you can leave the machine alone for a couple hours while the bread bakes and the delicious aroma fills your kitchen. The end product is very delicious, and even though its annoying, I still use it all the time.
Perhaps I just have a defective machine and this is not the case with every unit, but I just wanted to give a fair warning to those thinking of purchasing this product...
