(More customer reviews)This is a great pizza, bread or take a hot thing out of the oven on an even surface peel! This one is particularly nice in SOLID CHERRY, not necessary; but PRUDY! The guard rail is handy for those just getting the hang of the push,pull-- so one doesn't accidently burn the back of the hand with the object moving too far forward on the peel, ouch, I didn't need that! The shorter handle with angular bottom is a matter of preference and I'll admit, these features make it easier to store in most kitchens. For a nice price, treat yourself and your family; the kids and their friends will think it's a hoot and you will have no more burned fingers!
This is not only the best design, it is the perfect size to work on. And do not forget the butcher block oil. Even if you are not showing off the beautifully figured cherry, the oil will keep the peel in working shape for a hundred years.

(More customer reviews)for loaves, flatbreads, pizza, cookies, etc.. this peel will allow you to place dough on preheated stone gently, easily and accurately (ever had a nice Pizza Pie lose part of the toppings into your nice clean oven?? Not with this peel!). It will allow you to pick up sheet cakes, and other fragile baked goods successfully when they are done. This is the only way I have found to get REALLY THIN pizza from the peel to the oven successfully, without wrinkles or folds( and I use really wet dough ). I was not sure about it at first... but it WORKS, and works very well! A very short learning curve also.... it is really easy to use!
