(More customer reviews)Board looks super, but was slightly rough in a couple of spots; sandpaper took care of that quickly enough (though that region lightened as I took off a little stain, so I had to sand the entire surface to balance out the shade again). Conveniently reversible -- this is a solid, impressive slab of wood.
If you want it to last, and not collect bacteria or just plain bad flavors, wood boards should always be treated with common mineral oil (not vegetable oil, which will tend to spoil rancidly over time) before first use, and periodically thereafter.

(More customer reviews)This cutting board arrived fairly quickly and looks every bit as good (if not better) than the picture. It's thick, and so far (I've had it about a month) shows no sign of warping. Wood isn't showing signs of drying either. Given how great this cutting board looks, my only criticism is that the company didn't include a catalog of all the other stuff they make.

(More customer reviews)When I received my bread box, it was cracked, splintered and broken beyond repair. I called the company, and the box was replaced IMMEDIATELY. The second arrived in good shape. Being in the packaging business, I am aware that wood products tend to crack and splinter when subjected to sudden changes in temperature and/or atmosphereic pressure --if not packaged properly. When I advised the company of this "packaging" problem, they were very appreciative, and I believe will make every effort to insure safe packaging in the future.

As soon as I opened this, I loved it! It's very well made. We have stainless steel appliances, and it looks very nice on our counter. It really is fingerprint-proof. No matter how often you touch this box you can not leave your fingerprints on it. You don't need to wipe the surface clean every day(so cool).

It is large inside than it looks! I was able to put a loaf of bread, hod dog & hamburger buns, and a piece of sourdough bread loaf in there. There is still more room.
It opens and closes easily, we love it.

(More customer reviews)A very handsome unit with a small footprint and lots of room inside. Well constructed with good quality dark wood. The roll top works smoothly. I suggest giving it a quick wipe with a bit of mineral or vagetable oil to enhance its beuty. It is sturdy enough that you can place other items on top of it. We are actually using it to store all of our Rx medicines. Best price I found anywhere.
