(More customer reviews)I have only GOOD things to say about this baking dish. I bought one for myself when I got my first apartment. Five years later, and it still looks brand new and I use it all the time. In fact, I had to buy a second one (in blue this time) because I use this so much!
This dish is a good size for making meals for one or two people, as well as side dishes for more, or brownies, etc. It fits nicely in the fridge or freezer for storage, in the microwave for easy reheating, and in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. The handles are good sized for easy gripping and looks perfectly at home on a side buffet table at holidays.
For the price, you can't beat this purchase. It is worth so much more than what you will actually spend.

(More customer reviews)My new (6 month old) pyrex broke violently shortly after it was taken out of the oven and set on the oven to cool. None of the stove top burners were on or had been on for hours, and ut was NOT on a burner which vents heat from the oven. All the dish contained was bread pudding, and it certainly hadn't been roasting under the broiler. The glass shards were numerous, large, sharp, very hot, and flew everywhere, with an enormously loud breaking sound, so whether or not you want to call that an explosion, I'm very glad I wasn't in the room. I've been cooking with pyrex my whole life and never had a problem with it before, so I'm loth to give it a bad review, but it was a pretty scary experience.

This is Pyrex GLASS so you can use bleach or soap & water so you know you have a fresh board with NO marks or germs to use every single time you cut on it! Nice & strong, looks clean & good on my counter. Would highly suggest it if you use a cutting board daily.

(More customer reviews)This is an excellent bread pan. Glassware heats very evenly, I have other glass bakeware, and a ceramic. Glassware doesn't leach anything to my knowledge, though with bread it's almost a mute point as bread is not really acidic.
I like it for its thermal properties, ease of cleaning, and its food safety.
If you bake, this is it.
