(More customer reviews)I have only GOOD things to say about this baking dish. I bought one for myself when I got my first apartment. Five years later, and it still looks brand new and I use it all the time. In fact, I had to buy a second one (in blue this time) because I use this so much!
This dish is a good size for making meals for one or two people, as well as side dishes for more, or brownies, etc. It fits nicely in the fridge or freezer for storage, in the microwave for easy reheating, and in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. The handles are good sized for easy gripping and looks perfectly at home on a side buffet table at holidays.
For the price, you can't beat this purchase. It is worth so much more than what you will actually spend.

Corelle Square 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4, Pure White Review

(More customer reviews)These are a nice size and the shape is also nice--has a smaller footprint than the round plates if you are cramped for cupboard space. They are made of the traditional thin Corelle material and are a more "shallow" plate--like the traditional Corelle plain white dishes.
If you like the square shape and want a Corelle set that is a little fancier in solid white that will dress up for formal occasions, you may want to consider the award winning Corelle Scandia White in Corelle's Ultra line. The Scandia White pattern has a fancier mold and the plates are a little deeper and thicker than this set.
The major difference in the Ultra line and this set is the Ultras are 70% thicker than the traditional Corelle and have three layers of "glass" on the finish instead of the one layer on this set--The Ultras have a glossier finish--elegant--and a little more weight. These are nice, but for the same price at Walmart, you can have the square Ultras.
I spoke with a Corelle rep on the phone and asked her about the difference between this set and the Scandia White set. She said she owns BOTH sets, but is planning to give her set like this away and only keep the new Scandia White set.
The local Walmart did not carry the Scandia White Ultra, but carries several other Ultra square patterns. They also do not identify them as Ultra, but they are Ultra.
Corelle has introduced serving pieces in the past month in the Corelle material that match this set. The matching pieces for the Scandia White pattern are made of stoneware.
This set will give YEARS of service and may be preferable for someone looking for lighter weight dinnerware. The lighter weight may be easier for children and elderly hands to carry and handle. This is a GREAT everyday pattern.

(More customer reviews)I do quite a bit of baking, and have worked my way through a number of pans. I tried this pan based on a recommendation, and am now planning to replace all my tired bakeware with USA Pans! This is a solid pan of good weight that provides even baking and browning. Clean-up is effortless: a little dishwashing liquid, warm water and a light scrub were all it took.
If you've never purchased anything but "supermarket pans," the price on these might throw you. But, if you bake with any regularity, I believe you'll find these pans to be well worth the cost. They will NOT warp in the oven, there are no hot spots, and I expect this pan to last for decades.

The USA Pans 8" Square Cake Pan is constructed of aluminized steel, the material of choice for commercial bakeries. The metal thickness has been selected to allow for even heat distribution and maximum service life. An important and unique feature of this pan is its corrugated design.
