(More customer reviews)I had bought muffin top pans a few years ago, from a different manufacturer, and they were just plain awful. I really liked the idea of a pan like this that actually worked, and after reading the reviews, I decided to buy two of them. They are even better than I had hoped for. I have multiple allergies and have to use non-wheat flours, so I was understandably skeptical when I mixed up the first batch. They turned out perfectly. With many non-wheat flours, you won't get the rise and height that you would with wheat flour, because the gluten just isn't there in the right quantity. That aside, the muffins were excellent, and very moist. The muffins slid right out with no problems, and nothing stuck. Does it get any better than that? This is one of the few non-stick pans that I've used, that actually didn't stick. Quick release and nothing is left behind. I have several pieces of Chicago Metallic backeware; they are a little more expensive than other brands, but there is very high quality, and they are worth every penny. I am seriously considering buying two more of these pans. They do just what they are supposed to and are very easy to use. This is the best non-stick item I have ever used, and it is the only one that worked the way it was supposed to. I'd give it ten stars, but Amazon only goes as high as five.

Nordic Ware Cast Aluminum Mini-Scone Pan Review

I am a huge fan of scones, but never managed to cut them into neat, tidy triangles, so always resorted to patting the dough out into a circle and scoring it. This nifty pan takes care of the triangles. Just put the dough into the 16 triangles, pop the pan in the oven, and bake. The scones come out golden. Turn the pan upside down, give a couple of quick shakes and the scones slide right out. Since buying this pan, I have used it exclusively for my scones.

When first using the Mini-Scone pan, I was concerned the smaller size of the scones would mean a shorter baking time. I baked several recipes in the pan, and the cooking time was not affected.
The only drawback is the pan is not dishwasher safe. Since it is non-stick it cleans quickly with some sudsy water and a rinse.

I mix the dough in my breadmaker, then bake in this pan to get the perfect 4-inch bun. The pan bakes well and the nonstick feature is a great bonus. (More customer reviews)This is not smaller than regular muffin pans. It's straightsided where regular muffin pans have slanted sides. This pan has muffin cups that are 2-1/2-inch-wide by 1-1/2-inch-deep. My regular cheap metal muffin pan cups are the same depth; at the bottom they are 2-inches wide while at the top they are 2-3/4-inches wide. It's actually an appearance issue, not a size issue.
As for quality, it's from Lodge and it's cast iron. It's superior.
