And I did read the less than impressive reviews of the set and yet decided to go with it - 1) because of the price, (2) these received the relatively better reviews for a Henckels set (3) one-piece stamped steel construction. My husband was in the restaurant suply business for 7 years, and he is no fan of the Henckels International line but I succumbed to the draw of the little man (in the co. logo) without whom, I believe for the moment, no kitchen is complete. Since we received them, even my skeptical husband has gotten fond of them. They are not 'cheap looking', 'prone to rusting' (with proper knife handling, of course), 'thin blade'd, as some have opined here. We don't have a grand chef's kitchen operation running at our house and for us, these are great. With low to moderate use, regular hand cleaning and wiping down, they are still like new. They feel just right in terms of weight and look great. We have an extra pair of henckels kitchen shears that we were able to put in the block that had a compartment for it.

Bosch Blender for Bosch Universal Plus Review

(More customer reviews)My mom bought me a Bosch Universal Plus, and it came with the blender. The first time I used it I made my daughter a kale smoothie with banana and blueberries, and I was amazed at how well it blended the kale! The smoothie was silky smooth in less than a minute whereas my old $50 blender took 15 minutes of on/off/push-the-stuff-down-action and left little kale bits that gave the smoothie a grainy texture. I was blown away. I have since made hummus and almond meal in my blender, and we make green smoothies on a regular basis. I'm going to try making raw almond butter in it later this week. This thing is seriously amazing. I had heard good things about a Vitamix before receiving this blender, but from what I've heard about the Vitamix, this blender does just as good of a job.
The only downside is the noise. It is REALLY loud, but fortunately, my kitchen is on the opposite end of the house from the bedrooms. If you don't mind the noise, then DEFINITELY buy this if you use a blender regularly. It is well worth your money.
Another note: if you make hummus in your blender (which, by the way, makes it fluffier than making it in a food processor!), it will take some time to push the chickpeas down and move them around. I filled the container to the top with chickpeas one day and then added the other ingredients, and I left it running on high speed for too long. The motor cut off, and after worrying that I had killed my mixer, I read that the mixer motor will cut off if it gets overheated. Unplug it, let it rest for 15 minutes or so, and then try again. And don't let it run so long next time! I think it would have been fine if I had not filled it quite so full.

I suppose there is a more cheaply made broiler pan out there somewhere, but I can't imagine how any more corners could be cut...no pun intended, since all edges of the two painted steel sheets are knife sharp. The steel used to punch out those two pieces couldn't be thinner.
Package wrap indicates not to heat when empty! My intent was to pre-heat as a steamer for bread baking by adding water to the pan to create a crispy crust. Still searching for an at least a medium grade broiler pan.
Amazon's packaging was loose enough to cause the pan to bounce around freely in the shipping box, causing the chrome plated grate (not stainless steel) to scratch the paint off; looks like rust will follow shortly. Don't waste your $$ on this low end device.
