(More customer reviews)This pizza peel is a little bit thicker than I was expecting, or perhaps more importantly, has a less tapered edge than I was expecting, making it a little difficult to remove pizza with the peel but I have had good luck sliding pizzas off my stone with a spatula and this is a really beautiful peel, perfect for serving.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this "toaster" because it was supposed to be a 1400 watt "quick serve" toaster. It's fast, but only at warming the bread. To toast bread it takes two or three cycles on the darkest setting (placing the bread back in the toasting slot). Even after the two or three attempts the bread is unevenly toasted. I sure wish I hadn't wasted the money on this item.

(More customer reviews)There is nothing not to like here. The bisque exterior and white interior makes a very stylish appearance on the table and the pricing is quite economical. I am surprised never to heard Giada De Laurentiis had a line of cookware, as I never saw commericals even though I watch all the Cooking and Food Channels. By comparison of Celebrity ware which has certainly disappointed me in the past, this is one of the best lines I have accidently stumbled across. I bought this after searching online because I normally do not shop at Target but I am now giving this store a second chance now if only to see the rest of the Giada De Laurentiis line.

Sweet or savory, breads or loafs, it all looks great in this versatile pan. Mocha Semifreddo 4 oz. amaretti cookies (about 20) 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 3/4 cup sugar, divided 8 large egg yolks 1/3 cup brewed espresso 2 tablespoons dry Marsala wine 1 cup heavy cream Spray loaf pan with nonstick spray; line with plastic wrap, allowing excess to hang over ends and sides. Finely grind cookies in food processor. Add melted butter and process until crumbs are moistened. Press crumb mixture onto bottom of pan. Refrigerate. Whisk 1/2 cup sugar, egg yolks, espresso, Marsala, and a pinch of salt in large metal bowl. Set bowl over saucepan of simmering water (do not allow the bottom of the bowl to touch the water). Whisk mixture until thick and creamy and an instant–read thermometer inserted into the mixture registers 165 F, about 5 minutes. Set bowl over another bowl of ice to cool completely. Using an electric mixer, beat cream and remaining 1/4 cup sugar in another large bowl until firm peaks form. Using a large rubber spatula, fold whipped cream into the custard. Spoon mixture into prepared crust. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until frozen, at least 8 hours. To serve, unfold plastic wrap; invert semifreddo onto platter. Remove plastic wrap and cut into 1–inch slices. Makes 8 servings Total Cooking Time: 15 minutes + freezing time Giada De Laurentiis 2006

(More customer reviews)This is a really nice, almost artworthy, knife. It cuts well and is easy enough to control for thinner slices as well. The only thing that might make it better is if the handle were carved 90degrees off where it is. When you hold it comforatably the blade is horizontal instead of vertical, when you hold the blade vertical (to cut bread) the handle is not quite as comforatable. But the beauty of it almost makes up for that small error.

Wentworth Silicone Loaf Pan Review

(More customer reviews)I now use these pans exclusively whenever I bake bread in the oven (2-4 loaves a week.) I must confess that I received them as a gift and let them lay in the package for almost a year before trying them. I liked to grease my metal pans for a crusty, browned, "fried" surface. I imagined that a silicone pan would leave the bread pasty and damp. To my surprise, when I finally tried them, the pans brown the bread, both bottom and sides, without using a drop of oil or crisco.
This pan is to be preferred over many other silicone pans that I have tried or looked at: The 3 ribs you see on the sides act like the flying buttresses on Notre Dame Cathedral and keep the sides of your bread loaf straight. Some pans without ribs on the sides allow the loaf to bulge out as it bakes, and not have as pleasing a shape.
This is a well-engineered bread pan. I rarely write reviews, but I looked it up to buy more today and thought I'd let you know.
I also have the 8X8 square pan with the same wavy-ridge bottom and I use that for round loaves. You do have to have some support under that pan, like a small cooky sheet, when you put the risen loaf into the oven. The 8X8 also allows the loaf to brown nicely on the bottom. Sometimes I will sprinkle the bottom with semolina or oatmeal, but I don't need to.

Needed another fast so I could return hers to her but finally told her that I had to buy a new one because my dog knocked it off the counter. I know, blame it on the dog. But really it was the dog. So as a good neighbor I take full responsibility and the one I ordered was the exact same type as the one that was knocked off the counter. It's very pretty and maybe one day I'll actually purchase one for myself.

(More customer reviews)This product is SO COOL!!! It makes any toast French toast!! Just remember- stamp your bread on a flat surface. If you just put the bread in your hand and try to stamp it it won't work as well. Also, the design really won't show up if you like your toast light. But if you like your toast moderately toasted or even dark, you will LOVE THIS!!! I have yet to try it on actual French toast. I'm sure it will work if I toast the bread enough. Also, this product is a great price. It seems like a trivial item, but it is so fun. I am not regretting the [...] bucks I spent on it.

They do not get hot in the microwave, like some other plates I've had. The rim is nice because if you have something with sauce, it stays put on the plate. I haven't had them long so I can't say how they hold up, but for now, I really like them and am happy with my purchase.

The design, quality, and reliability is comparable to and sometimes better than Oxo, but Zyliss has a slightly different product range and a style of its own (Zyliss uses more color whereas Oxo has a more black-and-white approach). I bought the sandwich knife because I was tired of using tableware knives or paring knives. The Zyliss knife has been excellent for its stated purpose. It is wide enough that it is more handy than other knives for spreading mayonnaise or cream cheese. With its serrated edge, it can also do small cutting tasks (such as completing the slice on pre-sliced bagels). The pricing is very reasonable for a knife of this sort and quality. The yellow-orangish grip color is attrative although a departure from my kitchen decor (such as it is). This is definitely a keeper, something that will be frequently used and appreciated.
